Driven by a deep commitment to social justice and political change, Gensis Sanchez has dedicated her career to the advancement of progressive causes. With over five years of experience working for non-profit and grassroots organizations advocating for reproductive and intersectional justice, she is well-versed in developing the strategies and tactics necessary to mobilize communities and drive policy change.

As the Associate Operations Director, Genesis is responsible for helping to manage the strategic and operational programs that help Scale for Change grow aligned with its mission to craft winning campaigns that champion change and build capacity for the future. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization, including managing projects, coordinating events, and ensuring the smooth functioning of its programs and initiatives. 

Genesis holds a bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies from Columbia University. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her pets, exploring the great outdoors, crafting and baking.
